Can I walk in and donate blood at any blood bank?

Many licensed blood banks accept walk‑in donors, but:

·       Some require you to come during specific hours for donation (e.g., daytime sessions even if they supply blood 24/7).

·       Some may require you to call and book an appointment, especially for apheresis (platelet) donations.

·       ID (such as CNIC) is usually required.

It is a good idea to:

·       Call the blood bank using the number listed in RedLife or on their website.

·       Ask about donation hours, eligibility rules, and whether you should eat/drink beforehand.

·       Confirm whether they are currently in need of your blood group.
