The National Disaster Management Authority’s (NDMA) Gender & Community Cell organized a impactful blood donation drive at NDMA Headquarters, partnering with the Lifesavers Welfare Organization to bolster community resilience and humanitarian aid.
This initiative highlights NDMA’s dedication to lifesaving efforts beyond disasters, emphasizing voluntary blood donations as essential for emergencies, surgeries, maternal health, accident victims, and chronic illness patients like those with thalassemia.
NDMA officers and staff showed remarkable enthusiasm, with strong participation across departments reflecting civic responsibility and unity. Lifesavers representatives managed the process professionally, upholding strict health protocols and guiding donors seamlessly.
The event wrapped up successfully, channeling collected blood through Lifesavers’ network to hospitals in need. Since 2010, this Rawalpindi-Islamabad-based nonprofit has championed blood drives, emergency response, free medical camps, health awareness, and humanitarian services.
