Sundas Foundation and PAS Academy Unite for Lifesaving Blood Donation Drive

In a heartwarming display of community solidarity, the Sundas Foundation partnered with the prestigious Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) Academy to host a blood donation camp, aimed at supporting thalassemia patients and others battling blood disorders. The event underscored the critical need for voluntary blood donations and safe transfusions in Pakistan, where thalassemia affects over 10 million people, many requiring lifelong weekly transfusions.

Held at the PAS Academy premises, the camp drew enthusiastic participation from officers, trainees, and staff, who turned out in large numbers to donate blood. Their contributions will directly aid vulnerable patients at Sundas Foundation's centres, providing safe, screened blood free from infections.

Key figures from the Sundas Foundation graced the occasion, including Founder President Muhammad Yaseen Khan, Director Khalid Abbas Dar, and Medical Director Dr. Adnan. They expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming response.

The Sundas Foundation, a leading NGO dedicated to thalassemia care since 1998, operates multiple centres across Pakistan, offering free treatment, diagnostics, and camps. This collaboration with PAS Academy not only replenished vital stocks but also amplified public education on preventing thalassemia through premarital screening and genetic counseling.
