RedLife Blood Donors Community is an online platform dedicated to saving lives through the power of community blood donation. Through our website and mobile applications, RedLife connects blood donors, recipients, and blood banks, helping people find suitable blood donors when they are needed most.
Important Public Clarification
It has recently come to our attention that three final-year BS Computer Science (BSCS) students of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) may have used, presented, demonstrated, or otherwise incorporated the existing RedLife.pk website portal and/or RedLife mobile applications as part of a Final Year Project reportedly titled “Smart Blood Donation Mobile Application,” “Smart Blood Donation App,” or a similar name.
Based on the information currently available to us, Griphens Technologies did not authorize these students to use RedLife.pk or its mobile applications as their own academic project, development work, or software product.
No permission, licensing agreement, development agreement, assignment of intellectual property, Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), or other authorization was provided by Griphens Technologies permitting the RedLife platform or its mobile applications to be represented as software designed or developed by these students.
Ownership of RedLife
For the avoidance of any doubt, RedLife.pk and the RedLife Android and iOS mobile applications are the intellectual property of Griphens Technologies.
The RedLife platform, including its website, mobile applications, software functionality, underlying systems, branding, design elements, content, and associated digital assets, has been developed and maintained by Griphens Technologies, subject to any applicable third-party components and their respective licenses.
No student, individual, group, educational institution, or other third party is authorized to claim ownership or authorship of RedLife.pk or its Android and iOS applications, or to represent that they independently designed or developed these products, without prior written authorization from Griphens Technologies.
Academic Projects and Use of RedLife
Griphens Technologies supports education, innovation, and the development of technology solutions that can make a positive contribution to society. We particularly welcome genuine student interest in technology that can help improve blood donation and save lives.
However, there is an important distinction between studying or taking inspiration from an existing platform and presenting an existing software platform, application, functionality, interface, or development work as one's own academic work.
Any academic use of proprietary RedLife materials that goes beyond legitimate reference or analysis must respect applicable intellectual-property rights and, where required, receive appropriate written authorization.
We therefore request that students, supervisors, evaluators, educational institutions, prospective employers, and other interested parties independently verify claims of authorship or development where RedLife.pk or the RedLife mobile applications are presented as part of an academic portfolio, Final Year Project, software demonstration, research project, or professional work.
Notice to Educational Institutions and Evaluators
If RedLife.pk, the RedLife Android application, or the RedLife iOS application has been submitted, demonstrated, documented, evaluated, or represented as part of a student project without appropriate authorization, Griphens Technologies welcomes direct communication from the relevant academic department or institution so that the circumstances and ownership of the technology can be clarified based on available records.
We are prepared to cooperate with appropriate institutional representatives and provide relevant information necessary to establish the origin and ownership of the RedLife platform.
Protecting RedLife and Its Community
RedLife exists for an important purpose: connecting people and helping save lives through blood donation. Protecting the integrity of the platform is therefore important not only from an intellectual-property perspective but also for maintaining public confidence in the RedLife community.
We respectfully request that no individual or organization reproduce, redistribute, present, modify, rebrand, or claim authorship or ownership of RedLife's proprietary technology or digital assets without prior written permission from Griphens Technologies.
